CPHA’s Activate Your Inner Citizens: Briefing, Healthy Communities

How does housing relate to the health of our neighborhoods? How does affordable and accessible housing improve the health of our City? How do you take action?

Next week, CPHA will be hosting its annual Activate Your Inner Citizen: Briefing to begin addressing these questions. Come out and join your fellow citizens, elected officials, and expert panelists as we discuss what makes a healthy community and how we can take action. Housing choice will be a central topic of conversation and Carol Payne from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development will be joined by WBAL’s Jayne Miller;  Anne Palmer from the Center for a Liveable Future; Klaus Philipsen, president of ArchPlan; and Dr. Debra Furr-Holden from the Bloomberg School of Public Health.
The event is free. Doors and display tables open at 5:30 p.m. All ages are welcome.

The event will be held on:

Wednesday, May 1st
630-8:00 pm
War Memorial Hall
101 N Gay St.
